Not sure if my job search activity counts - 2 months and counting

I have been applying to about 6 jobs a week as a janitorial supervisor, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
