Not sure if my job search activity counts

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as a medical assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
