My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - what worked for you?

I was laid off as an insurance claims processor and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Mine took about 2 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
