My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - what worked for you?

I filed my claim 24 weeks ago after being let go as a call-centre agent. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date.

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
