My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - what worked for you?

I filed my claim 23 weeks ago after being let go as a line cook. Any experience at all would help. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording.

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
