My first unemployment payment still has not arrived (update)

I filed my claim 7 weeks ago after being let go as a copywriter. It has been a long 7 weeks. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Mine took about 7 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
