My first unemployment payment still has not arrived (Sacramento)

I filed my claim 24 weeks ago after being let go as an accounts payable clerk. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Mine took about 24 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
