My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - first time posting

I was laid off as an office manager and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
