My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - first time posting

I filed my claim 2 weeks ago after being let go as a paralegal. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Is there a step I could have missed?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Mine took about 2 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.
