My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - first time posting

I filed my claim 5 weeks ago after being let go as a security officer. It has been weighing on me all week. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
