My first unemployment payment still has not arrived

I filed my claim 9 weeks ago after being let go as a sales associate. I am in Richmond, in case local advice matters. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date.

Mine took about 9 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
