My first unemployment payment still has not arrived

I filed my claim 18 weeks ago after being let go as a web developer. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
