My first unemployment payment still has not arrived after 4 years as a warehouse supervisor

I applied for unemployment in Birmingham 22 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. It has been a long 22 weeks. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
