My first unemployment payment still has not arrived after 18 years as a sales associate

I applied for unemployment in Albuquerque 10 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Has anyone been through this? How long did it take in the end?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
