My first unemployment payment still has not arrived after 10 years as a call-centre agent

I filed my claim 20 weeks ago after being let go as a call-centre agent. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Is there a step I could have missed?

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
