My first unemployment payment still has not arrived

I filed my claim 18 weeks ago after being let go as a barista. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Mine took about 18 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
