My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - 9 weeks in

I filed my claim 9 weeks ago after being let go as an accountant. I am in Birmingham, in case local advice matters. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. Is there a step I could have missed?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
