My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - 9 weeks in

I filed my claim 9 weeks ago after being let go as a software tester. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
