My first unemployment payment still has not arrived

I applied for unemployment in Wichita 24 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. It has been a long 24 weeks. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date. What would you check first?

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
