My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - 6 months and counting

I was laid off as an office manager and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. It has been a long 14 weeks. The page shows my claim as open but no payment date.

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.
