My first unemployment payment still has not arrived

I applied for unemployment in Knoxville 4 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. What would you check first?

Check the messages section of your claim, not just the dashboard. That is where my request for more information was hiding.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
