My first unemployment payment still has not arrived

I was laid off as a hotel front-desk agent and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Is there a step I could have missed?

Keep certifying every week even while you wait. If they find you eligible, the weeks you certified are the ones that count.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
