My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - 4 weeks in

I applied for unemployment in San Diego 4 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. Thank you in advance. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
