My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - 12 months and counting

I filed my claim 11 weeks ago after being let go as a sales associate. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. Is there a step I could have missed?

When I finally got through, the agent said my employer had responded late. Once that cleared, back pay came in one payment.
