My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - 11 months and counting

I was laid off as a hotel front-desk agent and filed right away, and I have been certifying every week. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I answered every question and uploaded my final pay stub. What would you check first?

Mine took about 10 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
