My first unemployment payment still has not arrived - 10 months and counting

I applied for unemployment in Charlotte 8 weeks ago and the status page still says pending. I called the state line four times and only reached a recording. Is there a step I could have missed?

Mine took about 8 weeks because of an identity check I did not notice. Look for a message or a letter you may have missed in your online account.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
