Losing employer insurance, where should I look? - what worked for you?

I have 9 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. I am in Birmingham, in case local advice matters. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. Is there help filling out the forms?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
