Losing employer insurance, where should I look? - what worked for you?

I have 5 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. It has been a long 14 weeks. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Compare the monthly price with the deductible. A cheap plan with a huge deductible can cost more if you need care.
