Losing employer insurance, where should I look? (St. Louis)

My family's coverage ended with the layoff and we have a prescription we cannot skip. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. How fast did coverage start?

Call your pharmacy too. Mine knew of a discount card that helped while coverage was being sorted out.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
