Losing employer insurance, where should I look? - any advice?

I have 15 weeks left on my current insurance and I am comparing options. I worked as a security officer before this. I do not want a gap in coverage. Is there help filling out the forms?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
