Losing employer insurance, where should I look? after 9 years as an IT help-desk technician

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as an IT help-desk technician. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. How fast did coverage start?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
