Losing employer insurance, where should I look? after 6 years as a medical assistant

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as a medical assistant. It has been weighing on me all week. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. What did you choose and how was the process?
