Losing employer insurance, where should I look? after 13 years as a hotel front-desk agent

My family's coverage ended with the layoff and we have a prescription we cannot skip. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want a gap in coverage. What did you choose and how was the process?

Call your pharmacy too. Mine knew of a discount card that helped while coverage was being sorted out.
