Losing employer insurance, where should I look? - 21 weeks in

My employer coverage ended at the end of the month and I am trying to work out what to do as an IT help-desk technician. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I think my income this year might qualify for a subsidy. What did you choose and how was the process?
