Is COBRA worth it after a layoff? - first time posting

I was offered COBRA and the monthly cost is more than I expected as an office manager. It has been weighing on me all week. I saw that marketplace plans might cost less. How did you decide?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
