Is COBRA worth it after a layoff? - first time posting

I just got my COBRA paperwork and the deadline to decide is close. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I saw that marketplace plans might cost less. How did you decide?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

If you have a planned treatment, COBRA can make sense for a few months. Otherwise look at the marketplace first.
