Is COBRA worth it after a layoff? after 13 years as a project coordinator

I was offered COBRA and the monthly cost is more than I expected as a project coordinator. It has been a long 17 weeks. My spouse has a chronic condition, so dropping coverage feels risky.

If you have a planned treatment, COBRA can make sense for a few months. Otherwise look at the marketplace first.
