Is COBRA worth it after a layoff? - 7 months and counting

I was offered COBRA and the monthly cost is more than I expected as a forklift operator. It has been a long 25 weeks. I saw that marketplace plans might cost less.

A quick call to the plan's member line cleared up two things for us that the letter did not.
