Is COBRA worth it after a layoff? - 20 weeks in

I was offered COBRA and the monthly cost is more than I expected as an accounts payable clerk. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I saw that marketplace plans might cost less. Did anyone switch mid-year?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
