Identity check for unemployment keeps failing - what worked for you?

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The in-person office has long lines. What finally worked for you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
