Identity check for unemployment keeps failing (update)

I was asked to verify my identity and the site keeps rejecting my photo ID. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Nobody answers the phone. Do I need an appointment?

What worked for me was going to the local workforce centre, where staff helped with the verification. It took about an hour.

Check the list of accepted documents on the official site. Mine included things I did not expect, like a passport card.
