Identity check for unemployment keeps failing (San Diego)

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The in-person office has long lines. Can another ID be used?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
