Identity check for unemployment keeps failing - any advice?

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Nobody answers the phone. Can another ID be used?

What worked for me was going to the local workforce centre, where staff helped with the verification. It took about an hour.

Check the list of accepted documents on the official site. Mine included things I did not expect, like a passport card.
