Identity check for unemployment keeps failing after 9 years as an accounts payable clerk

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The in-person office has long lines. What finally worked for you?

Check the list of accepted documents on the official site. Mine included things I did not expect, like a passport card.

Try a different device and good lighting for the photo. My first three failed because of glare.
