Identity check for unemployment keeps failing - 13 months and counting

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The in-person office has long lines. Do I need an appointment?

Check the list of accepted documents on the official site. Mine included things I did not expect, like a passport card.

Write down the date and reference number each time you try. They asked for it when I finally got through.
