ID verification problems, anyone solved this? - what worked for you?

I was asked to verify my identity and the site keeps rejecting my photo ID. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Nobody answers the phone. What finally worked for you?

Try a different device and good lighting for the photo. My first three failed because of glare.

What worked for me was going to the local workforce centre, where staff helped with the verification. It took about an hour.
