ID verification problems, anyone solved this? (Knoxville)

My claim has been on hold for 26 weeks because the identity check will not accept my documents. Any experience at all would help. The in-person office has long lines. Do I need an appointment?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Check the list of accepted documents on the official site. Mine included things I did not expect, like a passport card.
