ID verification problems, anyone solved this? - 6 months and counting

I was asked to verify my identity and the site keeps rejecting my photo ID. I am in Dallas, in case local advice matters. The in-person office has long lines. What finally worked for you?

What worked for me was going to the local workforce centre, where staff helped with the verification. It took about an hour.
