ID verification problems, anyone solved this? - 18 weeks in

I do not have a current driver's licence and they want one. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The in-person office has long lines. Do I need an appointment?

What worked for me was going to the local workforce centre, where staff helped with the verification. It took about an hour.
