ID verification problems, anyone solved this? - 13 months and counting

My claim has been on hold for 6 weeks because the identity check will not accept my documents. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Nobody answers the phone. What finally worked for you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
